Independent laboratory research shows various reinforcing aspects of our cut polyester, nylon and cotton fibers as incorporated in a Neoprene (GRT) formulation. Testing was performed by Akron Rubber Development Lab (ARDL), an independent rubber testing facility in Akron, Ohio. ARDL is an A2LA Accredited and ISO 9001 Registered laboratory utilizing ASTM standardized testing methods.
Comparative information regarding fiber type, fiber length, fiber loading and the use of some bonding materials has been generated and is available for review. While we chose to conduct these studies in Neoprene formulation, we believe the data and relationships will be very similar in other polymer systems.
